Today we see so many problems in the world. Cultural battles, moral confusion, endless debates about faith and truth. And many Christians feel the need to jump into the fight.

But something strange has happened.

Instead of building, we have become obsessed with arguing.

Scroll through social media and you will see Christians fighting everyone about everything. Theology, politics, morality, culture. Endless debates. Endless comments. Endless attempts to prove who is right.

But here is the uncomfortable question:

Is this really how we win?

The Trap of Winning Arguments

Many believers have fallen into a subtle trap. We think that if we just win the argument, we have done our job.

But Christianity has never spread primarily through arguments.

It spread through lives that looked different.

Through families.
Through sacrifice.
Through courage.
Through holiness.

Arguments can clarify truth. But they cannot replace lived faith.

Too often we focus so much on destroying bad ideas that we forget something essential:

Good must be built.

The Garden Principle

Think about a piece of wild land.

If you buy a neglected garden, the first step is obvious. You must remove what is bad. You cut the weeds. You clear the thorns. You remove what is choking the soil.

But if you stop there, what happens?

The garden becomes wild again.

Weeds always return to empty ground.

So after removing the weeds, something else must happen.
You must plant.

You plant fruit trees.
You plant vegetables.
You plant flowers.

You fill the soil with life so that weeds have no room left to grow.

The Christian life works the same way.

You Cannot Only Fight Evil

Many Christians spend their entire energy fighting evil.

Fighting bad ideas.
Fighting bad politics.
Fighting bad culture.

But evil is not defeated simply by attacking it.

Evil is defeated when good grows so strong that evil has no space left to live.

A life filled with goodness leaves no empty rooms.

This is exactly why Christ warned about the danger of an empty house. When evil leaves but the house remains empty, it returns with even greater force.

The house must be filled.

Filled with prayer.
Filled with virtue.
Filled with Christ.

A house where Jesus lives is not easily invaded.

Live the Faith, Do Not Only Defend It

If you want Christianity to win, arguments are not enough.

Have children.
Build families.
Serve others.
Create beauty.
Practice charity.
Live courageously.

Do not only defend the faith.
Live it.

The early Christians did not conquer the Roman world through comment sections and debates. They did it through visible goodness.

People saw something different in them.

That is how truth spreads.

Now we will speak how to put this way of living into practice.
